#323 - Wood Violet on Moss

The woods were beautiful with violets today. A whole carpet of them under the trees, growing between the mossy rocks and roots on the riverbank.

I was astonished to see so many violets under the garden hedges we passed yesterday, it's not a flower I expected to see in the city and growing so carelessly too, next to the pavement.
